Karin Khuhro

Karin is an experienced online marketer. She began her career in digital before graphics were common place on web sites. At that time it was a thrill to design CDs with animated “website-like” marketing messages and mail them out to customers in the hope that they knew how to put the CD-ROM in their computer!

In the 90s, Karin’s talent in interactive, web design and creative development took her into the heart of the DotCom tidal wave where she worked with a variety of agencies as they ebbed and flowed through the dramatic build up and bust that was the DotCom bubble. Then in 2000, she left the agency world for corporate, taking a position as Select Comfort’s (Sleep Number® bed) first Online Marketing Manager. Select Comfort proved to be the perfect place for professional growth. During this time of rapid change in the Internet industry, Karin was heavily involved and influential in everything related to the company’s ecommerce channel. Working with every aspect of online marketing – email marketing to website design, search optimization to cutting-edge functionality – Karin and her team enjoyed sales growth well into the double digits every year to become a healthy $40MM+ channel. In early 2008, Karin decided it was time to resign as Director of Online Marketing and spread her entrepreneurial wings. Strategy E-ssentials was born!

Today, Karin uses her past experience as a team leader, manager and director to find and work with the best online marketing experts. These “Partners” share their knowledge, help teach/train and offer their services to business owners who come to Strategy E-ssentials looking for answers and better ways to market their business online.
